Dr. Paul Brackeen has been freeing people from pain in the clinic in Derby, KS. A Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Brackeen is committed to promoting the optimal health and well being of patients.
Dr. Brackeen uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Dr. Paul Brackeen earned a Pre-Med Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University and his doctoral degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. He is a previous recipient of the Kansas Young Doctor of the Year Award, and current President of the Kansas Chiropractic Association. He was born and raised in the Derby area, attending Rose Hill schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. He is married with, three children, two daughters and a son. He played sports throughout high school and college and coached his daughter's basketball team. He practices the health and wellness he promotes to his patients, including nutritional supplements, cardiovascular exercise and lifting weights.
Dr. Josh Grammer is a new addition to Brackeen Chiropractic. He was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. He is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. Prior to chiropractic school he attended Wichita State University where he received his Bachelors in Science. While attending Logan, he took coursework in the Masters of Sports Science and Rehabilitation program. Dr. Josh is a member of the Kansas Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Grammer uses chiropractic care and its various techniques to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives. Chiropractic can not only help with back and neck pain, but in some cases other various conditions such as asthma, digestive problems, and high blood pressure.
Dr. Grammer was involved in a variety of sports as a youth and still continues that passion today. He enjoys working with athletes of all ages and skill levels. Dr. Grammer would also like to work with local school districts to build awareness of scoliosis in children and how chiropractic can help with early detection and treatment.
